O Santander negou que promoveu demissões em massa no país, durante audiência hoje (11/12) no Ministério Público do Trabalho da 15ª Região, em Campinas, com a participação do Sindicato e da Federação dos Bancários de SP e MS. Segundo o banco espanhol, as demissões ocorridas na semana passada – em Campinas, até o momento, foram despedidos 30 bancários – configura tão somente “rotatividade normal” e foram promovidas pelos seus 5 mil gestores. O Santander destacou que “não tem controle sobre as ações dos gestores” e, consequentemente, não pode suspender as demissões (‘localizadas’) e nem construir uma solução com os representantes dos trabalhadores. “É pura provocação, desrespeito. Atribuir a nociva medida aos gestores é não assumir responsabilidades. Afinal, demissões em massa não são decididas por gestores, mas, sim, pela diretoria, por quem comanda a instituição”, frisa a diretora do Sindicato, Ana Stela.
Frente à impossibilidade de qualquer entendimento na audiência, solicitada no último dia 5, o Sindicato e a Federação dos Bancários informaram, como consta na ata da reunião, que “adotarão as medidas que entenderem cabíveis na defesa da categoria representada, inclusive no que se refere ao possível caráter discriminatório das demissões e possível pedido de reintegração”.
Para o presidente do Sindicato, Jeferson Boava, que também representou a Federação dos Bancários como secretário-geral da entidade, “nossa luta é pela preservação dos empregos em todas as frentes e contra a postura intransigente do Santander, que não informou o número de demitidos e sequer assumiu a responsabilidade pelos cortes. As demissões foram em massa e discriminatórias. A primeira tentativa em buscar uma saída fracassou, porém, vamos em frente”. Jeferson observa que o Sindicato não homologou nenhuma demissão e essa orientação está mantida. “Vamos aguardar o resultado de outras batalhas travadas no país e a orientação da Comissão de Organização dos Empregados (COE), que está reunida hoje em São Paulo”.
